Mr. Harvey is a Certified Specialist in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization. His practice focuses in the areas of estate planning, asset protection, and succession planning, a blend he refers to as wealth preservation.

Mr. Harvey has represented clients in contract negotiation, employee matters and other legal matters that affect the privately-held businesses and real estate owners. He has helped real estate developers and entrepreneurs raise money through private placement debt and equity offerings.

Mr. Harvey began his practice representing individuals and businesses at two different prominent Sacramento law firms in the area of estate and business planning before becoming a founding partner in the Law Office of Harvey & Taggart in 2004. While at Harvey & Taggart, Mr. Harvey represented private foundations, charitable organizations, corporations, and individuals.

Mr. Harvey has been a frequent guest on real estate and business talk shows on KFBK 1530 AM in Sacramento and KNBR 680 AM in San Francisco. He is a featured speaker at real estate investment clubs throughout Northern California, lecturing on such topics as real estate deal structuring, private placement funding, and wealth preservation. Mr. Harvey taught at Menlo College, in Atherton, California and is now a faculty member at the University of Phoenix where he teaches business law.
