Yatin Patel

Mr. Patel is Of Counsel at Miller Law Group, P.C., and focuses on commercial real-estate transactions. He assists clients in analyzing legal issues impacting transactions. His practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real-estate with an emphasis on the hospitality industry.

Yatin’s legal experiences include litigation and transactions. He has represented clients in matters such as partition actions, unlawful detainer, mechanic’s lien, construction disputes, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, purchase and sale contracts, and commercial leasing. Yatin pays close attention to understanding the needs of both his clients and adverse parties to reach mutually-beneficial solutions to complex issues. He has settled several cases to the satisfaction of all parties, including a commercial lease dispute. Yatin also is well-versed in entity formation, such as LLCs, limited partnerships, corporations and ensuring corporate compliance with state regulations.

Prior to joining Miller Law Group, Yatin was an associate at a firm in San Mateo specializing in real estate litigation and transactions. Prior to law school, Yatin worked as an IT consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers / IBM Consulting.

Yatin also has more than 15 years of experience in the lodging industry. His in-depth knowledge of the industry and hotel operations is invaluable to clients, as his perspective aids him in fashioning unique strategies to solve complex issues.

Yatin is also a member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and has a grasp on the latest on legal matters impacting the lodging industry.
